PB-114 GripPack 114 Tensioner

Signode’s PB-114 GripPack 114 Tensioner

Signode’s new GripPack 114 tensioner tool is battery powered and replaces the pneumatic PN2-114. The Signode GripPack tensioner runs off of an 18 volt Bosch battery. The battery tensioner is a pusher style, and uses its duck bill nose to push seals and pull tension. This PB-114 GripPack tool pairs with the Grip Pack 114 Sealer. The GripPack tensioner runs 3/4″ steel strap up to 1 1/4″ steel strap with no adjustment.

Versatility:

There are no tools more convenient than the battery powered tools. This GripPack Tensioner totally eliminates the cost of air lines but supplies similar tension as its pneumatic competitors. Not only do battery tools save cost, they offer the greatest mobility of any other tools. Even when compared to manual tools, the weight of battery tools is much less so they can be easily transported around the loading dock and work room. Many people are shocked to hear the new Signode GripPack 114 Tensioner can pull 1,500 pounds of tension. The Lithium-Ion batteries allow the maximum amount of tension to be pulled with just one squeeze of the handle. The Signode BPT-L19 is a single reverse notch sealer used with regular duty or high tensile steel strapping, and recommended for use on round or irregular loads. Weighing 10 pounds (half a pound more than the pneumatic PNSC2), the BPT-L19 tool uses its duck bill nose to push the seal, a feedwheel to pull tension, and jaws to notch the seal in a full combination action. The BPT-L19 applies up to 674 lbs. tension to steel strapping. The BPT-L19 is a relatively easy tool to operate thanks to the two bottom control system. The strap easily slides out after each strapping cycle. The touch screen allows you to change the tension settings, or to switch between manual and automatic.
